For this painting, I painted a canvas purple and put blobs of yellow on it.
While both colors were still wet, I pulled a bamboo stick through the paint in the pattern I wanted.
I then added black and gold and pulled the bamboo through those colors aswell.
When the paint dried, it had kept the lines and pattern, giving me this finished result.

I decided to make it look slightly abstract instead of just doing straight lines. I did this so it would catch your eye and look more interesting than it would be if I just did straight lines.

I decided on the colors because they all matched quite well together and the bright yellow would stand out against the purple.
